Disgusting! ::shudder:: I think its important for people to be morning compatible, whether it be friends, partners, or colleagues. A cross word first thing can last all day and fester in the background. I drink what is colloqually called "English Breakfast Tea" which is medium strength without being too bitter. As you say, our friends on the continent are mainly coffee drinkers. That "English Breakfast Tea" was very popular here some years ago, and you could only get that and Earl Grey, which were bought in big bags, and it was a bitter experience to drink. It was low quality tea to a low price, hence the big bags. Later people became more aware of the quality and now tea is bought in small bags with a higher quality. Of course the big jumbobags can still be bought, I don't know who buys them... When I lived in Copenhagen there was a tea/coffee shop in the street right opposite of where I lived, and the owner of that shop taught me a lot about tea. I ended up with buying Kemun tea, as I liked it the best. And now I only drink green tea, Pearl Jasmine, which is very delicious. It's great to get home from work on a cold day with a fresh roll from the baker and then enjoy it with a cup of that tea. I have bought a small egoist teapot which only can contain two cups of tea, so I can make a fresh pot if I want more after those two cups. But coffee, that's another story. I'm a coffee nerd! About mornings, I'm not grumpy, only quiet, and I appreciate it if people don't demand too much from me before I have got a cup of coffee. The Boston Tea Party was a protest by the American colonists against Great Britain in which they destroyed many crates of tea bricks on ships in Boston Harbor. The incident, which took place on Thursday, December 16, 1773, has been seen as helping to spark the American Revolution. Any problem here with us and Denmark? I would say you were lucky just to get away with that. Caffiene doesn't effect all people the same. In fact I often have a cup before bed and never have trouble sleeping.
