Today makes 8 years for me. I've had SETI Classic or BOINC SETI running continuously as well. I'm not hoarding credits, but my little bit of crunching has added up over the years. I think the staff at Berkeley and all of the volunteers do a FANTASTIC job. If there is a small outage, it is fixed in almost no time. This last large outage, well, I know that the guys have been busting it to get SETI back up and running. They all have my utmost respect and admiration.

Only just saw this thread - my 8 years was six days ago!

Started crunching Classic units on a 266mhz Celeron, often having to leave the machine on 24/7 to make the deadlines. Now I'm crunching for 7 projects on my main machine (if you count LHC and Predictor!) with very little deadline trouble, thanks to new technology, unless I get a nasty big QMC unit...

Today's the day!

Ummmm...errr...and I'm in the short-term crisis of not being able to get work, even with a stock client.

This'll pass and some day I'll try to remember that little flat spot in my WU graph from way back in May 2007.

Heh, Its hard to believe that I've been around here this long... This is the account I started with (lost the email address and password, so started a new one. Only got control of this one back during the BOINC migration when Classic shut down). 8 years and 1 day.

Still 4.5 months to go! Joined in after reading about it in a computermagasin (PCM). Started 16 Oct 1999 on a pentium 75Mhz, soon switched to a PII 400 MHz until last year. Now crunching on 3 more up to date boxes. And I wil still go on! :-)))))))))))
