The RAM slots on your motherboard is colorcoded = 2 yellow and 2 black slots ?

For dual channel configuration (when you have f.ex 2 x 1GB matching RAM-modules) you should use the yellow slots (A1 + B1). This gives you the optimal performance (dual channel).

If you upgrade with another 2x1GB set, you should put these in the black slots (A2 + B2).

BTW. It's described in the manual that came with the motherboard.
The suggestion (1 module in yellow + 1 module in black slot) from 'Sir Ulli' - will NOT give you a good performance, since the memory is NOT running in a dual channel configuration.

use one Module in 1A and one in 1B
