Good morning Esme! Is see you are on line!

yeah..you wanna make something of it? :-)

No!

I wouldn't dream of it!

Anyway, you are younger, perhaps faster, and, likely, to hurt me during the ensuing fracas?

Good Morning Mike and John...A little bit of snow this morning 32F/0C...

Hi there Dan ... looks like it's getting warmer around your area, from the temperatures you quote?

Did the strong cyclones of the last few days affect your part of the States?

Replies when back from work!

Good morning Esme! Is see you are on line!

Some thunder and wind...But my town survived intact...The state of Alabama was not so fortunate...They were hit by a massive tornado.

Yes! Last night's BBC news reports showed the devastation, and reported the death toll, especially for the town called Enterprise!

Bad!

So many school kids were killed or hurt badly...and those who saw it all will be hurt by this for the rest of their lives...A truly horrible event.

I agree!

It just shows we need to keep things in perspective, when humans start thinking "too big for their boots". Nature has ways of reminding us of our vulnerabilities.

It was sad about those at the beginning of their lives!

So true, so true.

Good morning Mike, and it's better here.

Bright, sunny, but clouds around (not grey though), 15 km winds and ~10C. Not bad for this time of year. But tomorrow's forecast sounds similar to you, with much heavy rain!

How is the goulash soup proceeding?

Anyone preparing breadded crispy marmot for breakfast?

I would like some sausage rolls and black pudding with it!

Disgusting??

I recomend a litre of port for breakfast .. followed by a big afternoon sleep.

That's a sure way to pass the time.

Just cooked up some nice steak and ongions...That helps too..
