Performance difference

We all get the same credit(OK) How come the big difference in the used time. Different OS is the answer to this or what? I have XP sp2 and use the most. The other has W2000 and use 800 sec approx. Can I improve my PC in any way (no OC)? The 823sec result was using and overclocked core 2 duo using chickens optimised application. The C2D cpu is probably 2 times faster than the P4's at stock speed and OC'd faster still, and using chicken's optimised app will have decreased the time by 30% or so. So the much faster crunching time is probably as expected. Follow FMatson's advise and use the optimised app. Andy ID: 516637 ·
