Famous dope addicts in crisis...oh my!

The world's going to hell in a hand basket and the media is playing up junkies OD'ing, while others use rehab like a revolving door...what's wrong with this picture?

Have you seen "Idiocracy"? It paints an interesting picture of the future.

Surely Idiocracy came to America on December 13th 2000 and was ratified on Jan 20th 2001!

Took me a minute to figure out you were talking about Dubya! My first thought was the Patriot Act, But that bit of idiocracy came later. lol

SOURCE: FIGHT WITH K-FED CAUSED BRITNEY TO SHAVE

A screaming match with Kevin Federline left Britney Spears reeling – and, after a public breakdown, running for rehab, sources told The New York Daily News yesterday.

“Britney Spears has voluntarily checked herself into an undisclosed rehab facility today,” her manager, Larry Rudolph, said in a statement. “We ask that the media respect her privacy as well as those of her family and friends at this time.”

Photos confirm Spears has checked into the posh Malibu celebrity haven Promises. She was spotted strolling the lush grounds yesterday in a hot-pink tank top and pants that appeared to still have the sizing sticker attached.

Rudolph said yesterday that the decision for treatment was Spears'. In a call to E! News' Ryan Seacrest, Rudolph said he had just spoken to Spears and that she told him all she wants is time to rest, to get better and focus on her recovery.

According to OK! magazine, a blowout with Federline sent Spears reeling.

“They had a huge argument,” a source told the magazine. “Kevin threatened Britney that he was going to have people test her hair to find out exactly what she's been up to. She was so scared. That was what made her have her head shaved.”

I believe you when you say the temperature in Võru was -25ºC for 3 days running. I had an Estonian girlfriend when I was in university, and the first word she taught me was "rohellineh" which means green. Did the vodka freeze over?

i assure you that it was bitter ... although the Vodka did not freeze ... it certainly turned into the consistency of syrup, or honey ...
It took almost ages to pour ...
BTW ... in Võru - where Elina comes from - 35 kilometres from the Russian border, Vodka (or anything Russian) is NOT the flavour of the day.
A couple of years ago I brought a bottle of Stolichnaya and hoped to share it. They all threw it into the fireplace! and the rest of what remained in the bottle, remained untouched.
The Estonians are fiecely Estonian ... and that is something for which I love them. I have never left that Country easily. Estonians are so proud of their Country and history - they speak the name of their Country with a special feeling that I have never found before. Certainly for me, coming back to UK has always been a let-down. Nobody here could ever give two consecutive damns about this god-forsaken place. That is the only thing I have in common with the people of this Island.

btw ... just a silly point ... "green" is "roheline" in Estonian! Maybe an insignificant change ... but when you consider that each word in Estonian has the stress on the first syllable of each word (which gives it and other Finno-Ugric languages) its esoteric quality (and when they then speak English, this is carried over, making the whole pronunciation - to my mind - immensely attractive!)
