Good moaning hoppy compeers and all the non Cafe visitors. It looked like I fell asleep over my fry up last night. So, I am off to shower and tidy up! It's good to be back amongst friends and colleagues

It's getting late tonight and I am missing my full fried breakfast and strong coffee. I should then have a restless, pooting, night. Ideal introduction for work on Monfay morning? It's good to be back amongst friends and colleagues

Never had the "artificial" packaged stuff. I make mine from scratch. Just a quart of sour cream, 1/4 lb. butter, and a touch of flour for thickening. Then stir for 4 hours or more in a double boiler untill it thickens and the butter starts to come out. Serve with a berry sauce. |

Thanks for the answers. I've heard about the blood pudding and it didn't sound palatable at all. But I did like the way that the sausage was seasoned, especially by the Danes. Any one like rommegrot? (sour cream or clabbered milk pudding) Never tried it "none so blind as those who will not see" (John Heywood 1546) Don't drink water, that stuff rusts pipes! You are making Proof out of Logic, by just being dubious! {Bluestar to me) |

Great, 30 minutes before my lunch, and I just had to come in here and read this. LOL :-) Store bought ones, I don't have enough land to raise chickens, well, technically. I could if I wanted, but, well, oh nevermind.
I don't puke unless I'm very, very drunk. LOL

Can soomeone tell me what the h**** black pudding is or of what it consists? Black pudding or blood pudding is a sausage made by cooking animal blood with a filler until it is thick enough to congeal when cooled. Blood sausage is a more recent North American term for the same as well as a useful term for similar blood-based solid foods around the world. Totally disgusting!!! Never had such a thing. Sounds like something that vampires would like. I Did like the blood sausage when I was in Denmark and Norway. |
