Account creations are permanent. If you can figure out the info you used you could log in and edit the username and Email to garbage. If you do this I would suggest that you also set 'Should SETI@home send you email newsletters?' to NO in the Seti preferences. This will avoid Seti sending out an email to an non existing account (which would bounce back) during recruitment drives of idle accounts or other project news.

Edit: Make sure you're not messing up this account. :)

Additional note.
Boinc projects use your email as the unique identifier. The user name is not unique. I checked your User name profile to see if you might have previously attached with a different email. I found this account which has the same type of computer as the account your posting with and shows data results from 25 Jan 2007 7:14:40 UTC to today. It appears you may have two different accounts. Before you ask, there is no way of merging two Boinc account to recover these credits.

Note: On a separate issue. In the account your posting with under computers if you click Show: All hosts it shows an second computer attachement, it can probable be merged with the computer profile that was created in your account today so that these credit will show under one computer.

Just reinstalled Boinc 3 days ago and attached it to my SETI account.
It had been inactive since October due to other commitments.
Now its getting work running fine, my old credit is there, my team etc, but after 3 days it's only showing recent credit of .08 and nothing pending.
Also the last contact is showing as October 2006
I've uninstalled and reinstalled twice, just can't make any sense of it.

Not certain how many work units I've had but it's been quite a few, so where is my credit going?

I'm not sure what to tell you. The only work I see in your account was issued today. Are you sure you had entered the account information correctly.

Your computers are showing WUs that have been downloaded after you posted this message and it has in fact just returned a WU.
As you're saying its been working for the last 3 days, it would suggest that its been working under a different user name.
It now seems to be using your illogical username so maybe in the re-install process you switched users.
