Could you expound on that? Sure, we have a team, and the channel is associated with it. It's a irc chat, it's some pretty good times seeing new people, no matter their affiliation with any team. We have regulars from several other teams stop by and visit. Sure, if you're unattached, we'll make a pitch, but what we're looking for is visitors talking about their favorite hobby!

I understand that. I, myself have no problem with that. It would be the same way if I made the invitation. BUT....there are certain team leaders that would see an invitation like that, from me, as recruiting for my team.

I simply stated that it should be in team recruitment because it could be considered, by some, to be just that.

I am in no way saying that you guys are guilty of that.

Ahh, thanks. I've been around long enough to know that the people you refer to, the ones who cry foul, are typically the ones who do much of the same or worse in their own endeavors, and are panicking that they are losing a perceived edge.

We aren't using IRC...but we do have a FlashChat system. The only requirement is that you be registered on our site, but you don't have to be on the team to register.
