There are many manufactures of radios in those lower bands. Try browsing the HRO catalog to see if there are any scanners (or transceivers) that match your desired specs. At least you'll be able to identify the various manufacturers and visit their own product websites for more information. Too bad some of the radios with the best coverage are export only. Isn't that the truth. I love HRO, also do some stuff with AES as well. Been quite a while since I bought anything, my last purchase was my dual band HT, that now has an antenna problem and a DOA battery. :-( ![]() |

I have a question, I heard that Rockwell built a radio scanner that scanned from 0.0001KHz to 30GHz with no brakes. dose anyone know anything about this scanner?? Dose it actually exist?? If so dose anyone have a model number? Well I asked a simple question looking for a YES or NO and a model number if the answer was YES. And look at the answers I got!! The question had nothing to do with birthdays or antennas or HAM radio catalogs. But for the folks that wanted to know the answer, it's YES and the scanners range is from 1KHz to 3GHz not 30GHz like I was told. It's no longer made and the only scanner reciever made today that comes close to it is the AOR AR5000 http://www.aorusa.com/ar5000a.html#5000ac So thanks for all the none answers that had nothing to do with the question!!! If so dose anyone have a model number? Like I said WAY WAY back at the beginning of this thread, there is no such beast. The answer is NO, there is no scanner that can go from .00001Khz to 30Ghz..... Told you so, and even explained why it isn't so. |
