I have just had a power cut for about 6 hours. When the power finally came back the report deadline for my SETI@Home wu have all change to - Fri Dec 13 21:45:52 1901.

Also in the message column it says

Will I still get credit for these or should I abort and request new wu, even though I have spent 36 hours on one wu so far

Good. If the WU’s deadline looks reasonable on the website, there’s unlikely to be any problem—except that your BOINC scheduler might act somewhat confused until the tasks have been reported.
