Two things. First, 5.8.0 has a revamped CPU scheduler. Second, the current version of BOINC is 5.4.11, not 5.4.9. BOINC WIKI |

... all of my machines until Berkeley get things going right. Any chance that your debts are favoring SETI Beta and BOINC is doing what it's supposed to do (balance out the resource shares)? |

Since you have 487 seti@home work units in your buffer (not counting other projects like beta) maybe you missed the forth one. It maybe out of order and actually running the 4th. If you decide to quit please give you work units back since now I know where they all went the last couple of days :) SETI@home classic workunits 5,429 SETI@home classic CPU time 73,472 hours |

... all of my machines until Berkeley get things going right. If he is using 4 on the Beta project as he states, then your answer would be YES!! |

... all of my machines until Berkeley get things going right. I have a 4 core machine ... but it seems that Seti is only asking for 3 of those to work On the other hand, I am crunching on all 4 for Seti Beta ! So maybe it is best to switch off until Berkeley get their act together ... |
