its 7 years today i started on setti.


it might be 7 years but definatly no itch, started with one computer now got 3 and about to make it 4. was abit slow at the start but as computing power goes up so does the crunching, enjoying doing the crunching now and surfing the forums a lot of time on my hands as i dont work no more do to ill health, i keep a close eye on the stats and see how far iv come on in 7 years.

In 4 months I will join your illustrious club. I don't really remember how it was I came to start the Seti crunching thing. Sat in the background for years. It certainly wasn't the obsession that it is now. Screensaver thing and all. 233MMX at the time, I think. Hot sh*t when I first bought it!! Top o' the line! And remember what RAM usta cost? There were even 'Ramsaver' programs to make the best of the few mb of ram you could afford!

And the kitties say......'Crunchin'..... got my chips cashed in. Keep Crunchin'....like the do-dah man.....

I have been at it for a while now. I stopped for almost a year until I got my new core2duo and now climbing the ranks real fast :) I figure it will take about 3 months or so yo get back up where I was.
