I just wanted to thank you guys for the help, I still had issues getting new work, so I reset the project again one last time. I am building a new Core 2 Duo machine today and hopefully will be up and running tomorrow, so I will just install fresh and go from there...let's see if my RAC goes up any starting next week from an AMD FX-51 to the Intel C2D 6700; I can't wait to see the results.


Sorry for leaving you hanging, but I was very tired last night. ;)

If you still have the old machine lying around, next time it runs out of work, or even begins to run out of work, post any error messages here (not after you hit the update button a few times). We might be able to see what's going on from there.

You will be in for quite a surprise!! The E6700 will blow your FX-51 right outta the water, even at stock speed.
Don't forget to update your general preferences to allow processing on both cores, and stop by the Chicken coop for the v1.41 core 2 optimized app!
And if ya wanna OC it a bit, whoo-hoo!

Do you keep hitting the Update Button??? If so, you won't get any new work that way, it will do it by itself. Are you attached to any other projects?

Ever since I started using the 5.8.0 version, I have to reset my project to get any new work. My computer uploads and reports everything fine, but runs out of work until I reset the project. Any ideas other then going back down one version???
