Depends on whether a system of only one hectare will do comparably to (or better than) our current setup (with Alfa), whether we can depend on Arecibo to provide us with data in the future (or be shut down) and how the other projects are doing- Parkes, the One-Square-Kilometer, etc, and whether Seti will be able to use them. Funds will be a crucial factor.

This project is in dire straits money wise, it won't survive without the money to keep the current expenses covered.
