Message 478418 - Posted: 10 Dec 2006, 19:06:07 UTC - in response to Message 478415.

Hey JC, What kind of info about a cellular phone stuff you lookin for???

@CW, very nice information about those BBQ items. Thanks for sharing them. :-) I'm still learning how to use my smoker, course i've put it up for the winter now, but looking forward to using it again next year. :-)

GASP!!!! You put it for the winter.. For What???

I don't have a patio thats covered to do anything with. And, it snows, and I don't want it to rust out at all. Thats why. :-(

. BIG GREEN EGG

Hundreds of dollars!

Lifetime Warranty.. No Rust. Maintains temps even in sub zero temps.

I know people that have eggs that are 10+ years old.. How many metal ones would you buy in that time..

See, this was was a gift, so I didn't spend any money on it. :-) But, I don't want to have it die too soon either. Plus, I don't have the money for the Big Green Egg, although I would LOVE to have one. Maybe when I get my taxes back and pay some things off maybe I might have some spare money for one. :-) You should make a recipe book, market it, and sell it, make some money off of it. I'd buy one! :-)

Real works experience on the use of the kit able to transmit a signal that stops cell phones connecting to their base stations.

I have seen internet references to them, and thought one would be very useful in one of our busy local town pubs. The youngsters always seem to be on them, and the ring tones and loud voices are annoying.

A means of stopping their connection to the base stations wold give most of us a good quiet and pleasant time.

I am aware the UK has no Radio License permits to use one, but intermittant use would be virtually undetectable.

Actually you don't need any fancy equipment to interrupt a cell signal and the ITU seek and destroy people can pick up your intermittent signal. I am afraid that listening to other peoples ring tones are here to stay.

Save some cash and get one of the Demo Eggs at an Eggfest. There will be one in San Jose in June.

If I could save that much, then yeah, it would be worth it. LOL I wouldn't need the big one, probably the medium size one, in case I had people over. :-)
