G-E-C WSB

Dr. Walter R. G. Baker

So what do the Notes stand for?

W S B!

Try again and what does WSB stand for?

Welcome South Brother.

Whew!

You got the notes right, but why those three notes?

Uh... because they sound good played in sequence on a xylophone?

Nope they have a very specific meaning.

(G)eneral (E)lectric (C)orporation. GE was then and is now the parent company of NBC.

Despite an urban legend, the three note combination of G-E-C was not related at all to RCA's original stockholder (which became NBC's parent after it bought RCA in 1986 and is still its ultimate parent), the General Electric Company.

You need to go to GE's museum where they do say it's because of GEC.

The change of the tones during World War II were rumored to be a covert signal to certain gov'mint agencies.
