Just been watching live broadcasts from the international space station on NASA TV. Considering I have about 20 Zenith Transoceanic's and other old Shortwave radios in various stages of disrepair in my back room, yes second hand would be correct....LOL |

eh Tim - 'Remember' When we got our first Crystal Radios, Tow Transistor Radios and the TV Tube rotated on the Top of the Set and was ONLY B&W - Rockets / Spaceships didn't EXIST - safe for whaT Jules Verne had ta sey 'bout them EH :______________) i fergit which 'frequency' it's on - BUT you can still "Listen" to Jupiter with them (IF they still work) PS - my grandfather (mum's side) gave me his 'Lab' - in his basement and the 'Tubes' there were slightly taller than i was and the Power Supplies - well - they were pretty darn big too . . . had fun buildin' Tesla Coils and 'wreakin' havoc on everyone's TV Sets - UNTIL the FCC came in and informed me - i would have to STOP - there were 'snowflakes' "flutterin' on every TV Set within a couple of miles , , , eh, let's see - where are those Plans again - hmmmmmmmmmmmmm |
