BTW, anytime that a Moderator finds an account key / authenticator in a post, that post will be deleted. If the Moderator is thinking clearly at the time, (s)he will ask for a repost without the problem information.

Thanks for the tips Alinator.

The last thing I need is a nefarious hacker getting into my secure info and basically, stealing my identity to be used for ill-gotten gains...
no reason to give him/her my help by making those items public.

Ordinarily people who pop in here are looking for quick solutions to relatively simple BOINC problems. In this case, the info posted and talked about for the specific BOINC installation is safe to post publically. Typically this is the output shown on the project website which everyone can see and snippets from your BOINC message tab specific to the problem.

However when posting material from your internal BOINC state and config files, there is info there which you should not post:

1.) Your Authenticator

2.) Your Email hash

3.) Your IP Addresses

4.) Your Host Domain Name
