LOL... Good to hear you're back in the game! Another BOINC success story. :-) Regarding your PIII, what kind is it? Slot 1 or Socket 370 (Koloth/Katmai or Coppermine). Katmai's and higher should do pretty well for themselves, although Koloth's might be a little disappointing. I have a 550 Katmai and it's fairly quick using Simon's SSE app, especially compared to contemporaries. Alinator |

coppmine 933mhz, i use it as backup system if any thing happens to or i need to work on others, it just keeps going and goingamd going and going...... Ahhh... More than enough to be an effective cruncher and add a good chunk to your RAC. ;-) Of course my personal view is any output is good output, if I have some other valid reason to run the box in the first place (even old timers). And I can *always* find something useful for them to do. :-) Alinator <edit> On second thought, I think the PIII is actually running Crunch3r's app, but essentially the same difference. |

I run a Coppermine 933 myself, its dedicated solely to BOINC Seti. its a great little machine and maintains a solid a 100 - 120 RAC running Chicken's SSE Opt. Client. These machines are like tanks, they're not the fasted, but nothing seems to stop them :) D. |

Regarding your PIII, what kind is it? Slot 1 or Socket 370 (Koloth/Katmai or Coppermine). I don't mean to be pedantic, but I don't believe there was a Koloth Pentium III. There was only Katmai, Coppermine, Coppermine-T and Tualatin. |
