process creation failed.........

(0x2)) i had tried deleting boinc and anything that had to do with clients and anything seti@home related, emptied recycle bin, shutdown windows, restarted and downloaded new boinc installer, installed boinc 5.4.11, still had unrecoverable error message, i suspended activity,tried to reconnect, nothing, did it all again, reinstalled win xp ,this time, went into activity button, assigned run always, network activity always, hey back on, new error message, which is all of the above all three of my systems are visible in my profile, next thing i do is wipe my harddisk and start over!!! |

How is BOINC installed? Single User, Multiple User, or Service? If it is single or multiple user, does the user have full rights to the entire BOINC directory tree when this set of error messages occurs? If a service install, does the service account have full access to the entire BOINC directory tree? ![]() ![]() BOINC WIKI |
