Go to the New Optimised Apps Links --READ ONLY THREAD and read Simons (AKA KWSN - Chicken of Angnor) Post.
Download and run CPUZ, it's linked, check the MMX, SSE capabilities of your cpu and then download the applicable optimised app.

Does this computer get used by anyone but you? I ask because it seems to be a file permission error. Here is the error message from Boinc: "<core_client_version>5.4.11</core_client_version>
<message>
CreateProcess() failed - The system cannot find the file specified. (0x2)
</message>"
It says you are using the latest version, 5.4.11 but that Boinc cannot find the file it is looking for. If you have several people using this pc, that would make sense. Also did you install this as a 'service' or as a regular installation?

yes my wife however i am the admin. and she can't do anything but read her sisters email. it happened after 12 or 18hours of continueous use after she read her last mail and it had been used during that time for nothing but crunching, i had installed an optimized client on my 3.2g sys and saw an improvement so i thought i would try one on this system.
i believe it was a reg install. what should i look for if it was a service?
