The most I can give you is 238 characters long and goes from size 13 to 1: {size=13]ha {/size]{size=12]ha {/size]{size=11]ha {/size] {size=10]ha {/size]{size=9]ha {/size]{size=8]ha {/size] {size=7]ha {/size]{size=6]ha {/size]{size=5]ha {/size] {size=4]ha {/size]{size=3]ha {/size]{size=2]ha {/size] {size=1]ha {/size]In case you wanna use it for a different purpose, I did it with a one-line BASIC mini-program: a$="":for x=13 to 1 step -1: _ a$=a$+"{size="+str$(x)+"]ha {/size]":next x: _ ?a$:?len(a$)Just remember to replace { for [. |

Who is responsible for making the trial a farce? Let's see here. * moderator mode : off * Bodley...you rail against the " farce " that was Saddam's trial...but yet you offer no real solution for how it should have been done. All well and good. My question to you is this...how loudly would you have been shouting from the rooftops if those fine folks who found him had just shot him or if he had some kind of " accident " before he was brought to trial. It seems to me that the U.S. would have been in a no win situation either way as far as you are concerned. * moderator mode : on * Air Cold, the blade stops; from silent stone, Death is preordained Calm Chaos Forums : Everyone Welcome |

It seems to me that the U.S. would have been in a no win situation either way as far as you are concerned. It was imperative to the US forces, to secure country-wide order, that Saddam was found. They had no option but to offer him up to the civilian authorities and it was the only solution. It was then the Iraqi authorities decision to do with him what they did. flaming balloons |

Who is responsible for making the trial a farce? Thanks that was the same that I was thinking! He calls himself conservative, but is probably left of types like Michael Moore! Red Bull Air Racing Gas price by zip at Seti |

It seems to me that the U.S. would have been in a no win situation either way as far as you are concerned. It was also a court set up by the Iraqs and not the US! Red Bull Air Racing Gas price by zip at Seti |

It seems to me that the U.S. would have been in a no win situation either way as far as you are concerned. I agree. The U.S. WAS required to turn him over to Iraqi authorities. But, it seems to me, that the same people who are now shouting from the rooftops that the trial was a " farce " or a kangaroo court or whatever the heck they want to call it...are also the people who would have been shouting from the rooftops had Saddam not quite " made it " to trial. Rather than " THIS TRIAL WAS A FARCE!!!! " it would have been " LOOK AT HOW THE U.S. just EXECUTED A MAN WITHOUT A TRIAL!!!! " As I said...a no win situation. Who is responsible for making the trial a farce? Oh dear, I thought I had made myself perfectly clear on the subject. So to reiterate: He should either have been shot "whilst trying to escape" ... or shipped off to Guantanamo as hundreds of others of FAR lesser importance have been. Is my reiteration clear enough? My question to you is this...how loudly would you have been shouting from the rooftops if those fine folks who found him had just shot him or if he had some kind of " accident " before he was brought to trial. My answer to you is consistent with the above. I would have lauded the action. I would have praised the US for once having balls instead of feet of clay. It seems to me that the U.S. would have been in a no win situation either way as far as you are concerned. Had it done the above, it would have been in a win-win situation. With me and millions like me. And as for the population of Iraq ... well, dear Knightmare, see for yourself what US inaction in this problem has caused. The Sunni minority now has a CAUSE to fight ... If Saddam Hussein had been killed either during capture or whilst "trying to escape" ... there would be no rallying point. Dammit all, can you not see this? When you shave in the morning do you not see a nose in the middle of your face? This is no more the same as that! When you take the ground-moving decision to invade a Country to depose the Ruler ... you do NOT, repeat NOT allow him to live ... That is Rule one ... Rule 2 is: See Rule 1 I take it that you have not had Basic military training |
