And the song "Cloudbusting" made me buy her album Hounds of Love, even it's filled with great songs. Kate Bush - Cloudbusting About the video: The album also yielded a set of videos, the most famous of which is "Cloudbusting", directed by Julian Doyle, co-starring movie star Donald Sutherland and inspired by the life of psychologist Wilhelm Reich. Kate Bush had her debut with this song Wuthering Heights, which was very impressing. I think she caught the attention of most people with her vocal and later with this video. It was one of the first made, and I only saw the white one. Kate Bush - Wuthering Heights, the white one About the video(s): Two music videos were created to accompany "Wuthering Heights". In one version, Bush can be seen performing the song in a dark room filled with white mist while wearing a white dress; in the other, the singer lip-syncs in an outdoor environment while wearing a red dress. Kate Bush - Wuthering Heights, the red one And personally, I prefer the white one... "I'm trying to maintain a shred of dignity in this world." - Me

And this is my alltime best video for 1990: Adamski's Killer featuring Seal. Killer About the video, I worked in a residential home for children and teens, and one day, almost right after I started, one of the kids came to me, while I was doing something, and he asked me if I ever watched Mtv. I said yes, and then he asked me which video I really liked. I told him that I really liked Killer, but he didn't know it. A couple of days later, when I came on shift again, he came to me and told me that now he had seen the video, and it was a cool video. I scored big time on my rep among the kids with that video! And it is cool. Some of the first electronica from that time... "I'm trying to maintain a shred of dignity in this world." - Me

Also from So: Sledgehammer About the video: "Sledgehammer" spawned a widely popular and influential music video directed by Stephen R. Johnson. Aardman Animations provided claymation, pixilation, and stop motion animation that gave life to images in the song. The video ended with a large group of extras jerkily rotating around Gabriel, among them: Peter's daughters Ana Maria and Melanie, the animators themselves, and director Stephen Johnson's own girlfriend. Also included were six women who posed as the back-up singers of the song. In 1987, it won nine MTV Video Music Awards, a record which still stands as of 2006. It ranked at number four on MTV's 100 Greatest Music Videos Ever Made (1999). MTV later announced that "Sledgehammer" is the most played music video in the history of the station. "Sledgehammer" has also been declared to be MTV's number one animated video of all time. The video was also voted number seven on TMF's Ultimate 50 Videos You Must See - first aired 24th June 2006. From Peter Gabriel's album So. Don't Give Up About the video: There were two videos created for this song by Godley & Creme. The first consisted of a single take of the singers in an embrace, as the sun enters total eclipse and re-emerges. The second featured Gabriel and Bush's faces superimposed over film of a town and its people in disrepair. "I'm trying to maintain a shred of dignity in this world." - Me
