Because the servers are being overwhelmed by requests. Have patience. And keep an eye on the main site for messages, like: June 24, 2004 To handle increased demand for more workunits, we are bringing another splitter online as quickly as possible. We are also working on increasing overall system performance. The overall system is experiencing twice the maximum load beta generated and is climbing.
