the sk8n will work also if you are in a pinch... i sold mine last month (sk8v) and moved to a foxcon nfpik8aa... well worth the money.

What processor are you using with this board (foxcon nfpik8aa), and how much/type of memory? I have found one of these still available in a new condition for $235...how is it compared to the SK8V, do you think it is worth $235? I will be using the Athlon 64 FX 51 (940) and 1 Gig DDR 333 Reg. Kingston memory. This board is going to be a backup in case of board failure of the SK8V which is now 3+ years old.

i have the fx-53, but this board supports the dual core opty's. also it is pciexpress so you can run the newer video cards. it supports sli. I have a gig of some rare memory ocz made. pc3500. cant get it anymore.. they released it for like a month. also it has 8 SATA connections... i have one coming back from RMA if you wanna wait... i would be willing to come off of it for $150.

Which board, the Foxconn or the ASUS is comming back from the RMA, also does the Foxconn have an AGP Video Connection? I was hopeful to use my ATI Radeon 9200 (256DDR) with this board. And yes, I am interested in either board.

THE SK8N ARE ALL OVER EBAY AND THERE IS ONE FOXCONN BOARD ON EBAY. JUST TYPE IN "SOCKET 940: AND CLICK COMPUTER PARTS THEN MOTHERBOARDS AND IT WILL NARROW IT DOWN. OR TYPE OPTERON.
