Simons latest does well on VLARs (with my PD950s). They take longer but they have more credits. VLARs yield more credits per hour (on my PD950s). The units that have around 0.7 to 1.12 angle range don't take quite as long to do but have much fewer credits. Their credits-per-hour yield is low, often only 1/2 that of the VLARs. With other setups Simon's latest will behave differently.

A quick check on my computers , C2D and Pent M, show different results. The VLAR credits/hr are the lowest as shown below:
			C2D	PM
VLAR 0.088	28	15
Common 0.426	40	21
Higher 0.732	32	17
High 1.18	48	24
VHAR 7.6	45	NA

You got grouped with a couple of BOINC v4.x clients that overclaimed. It doesn’t happen very often any more: think of it as a bonus.

LOL, I'd gladly trade that result with them. I just got ~45 when teamed up with a pair 4.45's for a 0.4265, which would pay in the low 60's on a current client.

Although I have gotten the 4x "bonus" as well, so I guess you have to take the good with bad, as the saying goes. ;-)

That'll settle itself down soon enough.

Btw, check this URL to see my Sempron 2500+ (Oldschool S478) OC'd to 2.2Ghz whooping an A64's behind with Chickens 2.2 :p
Best is, the unit was 1/3'd trough callculatiing when I updated the client. I'm expecting it to drop another 1000 or so seconds.

That comming from 22000+ seconds for a 60 Credit WU in the vanilla seti app and 16000+ seconds for a 60 Credit WU on Chickens 2.0 :p

I don't think it'll get any better then this. Wish he had a new 2.2 compile for linux clients, my P3's would love it.

My highest was also around 93. Can't find it in the list anymore though (can you get a list somewhere that shows ALL the WU's you processed?)

Not from BOINC or the project, but both BoincLogX and BoincView will log all results. If your primary interest is credits, though, note that the logging does not include the credit requested or granted for individual WUs.

You were lucky enough to have two high-claiming BOINC v4.x clients in that quorum. Your claim of ~62 CS was presumably ‘correct’, but was the lowest of the three.
