Well, in the first place, it depends an the Angle Range (AR), how much credits were claimed/granted (and also on the needed MFLOPs, etc.). So you can't really compare them to each other... But yes, HT does its benefit on number crunching. As I can remember from the past days, one of my machine did a work unit in about 3 hours without HT, but did 2 work units in about 4.5 hours with HT enabled (given the approx. same AR, on non-enhanced, non-optimized WU/client). Maybe it's the Pipeline or the L2 cache.. anyway, it "works" a little faster. |

hi all, i just celebrating the double of my credits in only 7 days since i started again to participate on the project's. by the way, i saw that the computer running with active HT got more credits in this week... Recent average credit Total 250.36 3,197.21 <- no HT 266.22 3,427.08 <- active HT Booth of them started to crunch at the same time without any further stops. |
