Because I was going to go into the business of making "Moving Portraits", I can tell you how it's done.

A photographer takes several photos of the subject, each representing a part of the face in a different facial expression. A simple program than activates by mouse movement a change from, say photo1-mouth to photo2-mouth etc. It's simple really.

I still think that it's a great business for an artist-programmer and a photographer to get into. You know how fondly people look at photos of members of their family that passed away, for example. What a consolation and delight to be able to "see" their smiles in "live" animation.

It turns out that it's not the business for me, but if anyone here wants to try, they're welcome to the idea. :)
