BOINC Stats v0.6.1 has been submitted to Mozilla Update. It may take a couple weeks before it becomes available via the normal extension updates. For those who don't want to wait it has been uploaded to mozdev. It's download page is here. It may not be available on all download mirrors yet. If the file isn't found on that mirror please try again. Download servers are randomly selected from the mirror list and the update intervals vary. The new version adds World Community Grid to the list of projects for which stats are displayed. Description: BOINC Stats is a Firefox extension that displays a user's total and recent average credit in the status bar for BOINC distributed computing projects in which they are actively participating. It may not display stats for projects where a user's Recent Average Credit is zero. BOINC User Total stats are displayed at Firefox startup. User Options: Update frequency (minimum 2 hours), display or not display project icons, 12 or 24 hour time format, and selection of projects for which stats are displayed. BOINC Stats is currently capable of displaying a user's stats for: BURP Chess960 Climate Change ClimatePrediction Einstein@Home HashClash Leiden Classical LHC Alpha LHC@Home MalariaControl Orbit@Home Pirates@Home Predictor@Home PrimeGrid QMC@Home RALPH@Home Rosetta@Home Seasonal Attribution Seti@Home Seti Beta/Astropulse SIMAP SZTAKI Desktop Grid TANPAKU uFluids@Home World Community Grid XtremLab Notes: BOINC Stats uses xml data provided periodically by the individual projects. BOINC Stats and SETI User Stats cannot both be used. If you are using the SETI User Stats extension please uninstall it and restart Firefox before installing BOINC Stats. Suggestion: For ease of project identification enable the "Display project icon" option. cool! thanks for the update. I have been using the seti only one from long months ago. I already like this one better I think. I assume it will show "Account Number Not Set" for the first hour even though I set it for each project and it confirmed the changes? Jim Without love, breath is just a clock ... ticking. I assume it will show "Account Number Not Set" for the first hour even though I set it for each project and it confirmed the changes? It should display the data right away. Did you enter your cross project ID for the BOINC user totals? The text box for it is at the bottom of the tab displayed when you enter the BOINC Stats Options. BOINC Stats v0.6.3 corrects a problem with Spinhenge@Home stats. Normally downloading via this page results in the random assignment of a download mirror. Unfortunately though the file was uploaded over seven hours ago it hasn't made it to all of the mirrors yet. The only server I've been able to download the file from is the Oregon State mozdev mirror. I was wondering if the update system would work ok but unfortunately I haven't had a chance to downgrade and try it. You saved me the effort. It looks like there is a problem. The "new" LHC@H results show up on the BBC Climate Prediction graph... Maybe it's from Boincstats..... |

Sorry, I haven't been visiting the fora much lately. It's the .xpi file you need. Click on the link to allow firefox to install it. Or, save it to your desktop and select Tools/Extensions, then click the Install button, navigate to your desktop and select the .xpi file and install. Hi! I am using the extension and think its the best thing since Seti@Home itself... okay, maybe not, but it *is* great. I didn't see a place for suggestions anywhere else, so I thought I might use this thread as a suggestion box if you don't mind... How about the possibility of adding funcionality to the extension that would allow it to cycle through all the registered projects? every 30 seconds, or up to a few minutes, the stats for the next project would appear for reference. If you are interested in any particular project at any given time, you could still right click and select.... Just a thought. |
