Enjoy! White to Move and Mate in three. How this?: Bf4-Bg5+ f7-f6 Hc3-Hd5+ Ke7-Ke6 Qf3-Qg3++ OOOH! A really nice try, Champ. I think you have some of the right ideas, but in the wrong order. If you "allow" f7-f6, you create an escape square for the Black King on f7. That's why your mate doesn't work. Instead of 2. ...Ke7-Ke6, Black would move 2. ....Ke7-f7, which spoils the mate in three. ;) A very nice try though. Consider some of your same ideas in a different order. ;) ID: 384429 ·
