I have several computers listed with wu's issued on August 10, 2005. The results were returned a couple of days later, and received credit. However, the wu's are still listed and have not been purged. Doesn't central command purge old results? It appears that there is a bug in the system. May this Farce be with You |

Some kind of server failure occurred on that date and many of us still have wu's from that date that have not been purged. I have 5 or 6. I have pointed this out many times on the forums here but it is apparently impossible to remove these rogue work units from the system. I have become very fond of mine and for historical purposes do not want them removed. That said someone will probably find a way to remove them! Boinc....Boinc....Boinc....Boinc.... |

I made a similar post over a year ago about wanting to keep the couple i had. They where there for several months until my comment, then about 36 hours later they disappeared. lol 98SE XP2500+ @ 2.1 GHz Boinc v5.8.8 And God said"Let there be light."But then the program crashed because he was trying to access the 'light' property of a NULL universe pointer. |

Old lament, worth revisiting... Now with the new databases, servers, nas's, and whatever, do you think someone could clean up the old entries? The Aug 10 wu's are still stuck. Leaving them around is not very professional, from my perspective (which is routinely ignored by CommandCentral as well as my wife, but I don't mind.) May this Farce be with You |
