Message 352556 - Posted: 30 Jun 2006, 3:50:36 UTC - in response to Message 352550.

Now we're going to have to go all BBQ and s&*t...

I hope the s&*t part comes after the BBQ part and not during.

Is that a joint or a #2 pencil?

It's not yellow

Not all pencils are yellow.

True!

I remember pencils!

I prefer pencils hard to rub out ink...

I have a problem with breaking off the lead.

Be sure that you go into the service settings, and under power and productivity, you uncheck the "Pause virus scans when CPU is busy with other applications." Otherwise the scanner will hang/slow to a crawl, while you're running Boinc. All other scanners hang as well, but Kaspersky gives you an override option.

Yes, I found out after I ran the first scan. I had it running while I was sleeping and 8 hours later it had scanned about 18%. And after I unchecked the box, it finished after 20 minutes.

Thanks for the advice. :-)

The full version Kaspersky Internet Security suite does it all, has a 99.98 detection rate for spyware, malware, riskware. Itis one of the few that runs in rootkit (the others like bitdefender, use Kaspersky's engine under license) and is impervious to attack. Their firewall and antispam is second to none. Their .dat files are updated every hour.

That's why I ditched my MacAfee and bought Kaspersky's Internet Security 6.0 package.

So thanks Dogbytes for drawing my attention to it. But the online scanner doesn't remove the findings, it only finds them. But it's good to check when the other programs have found and removed their findings.

If it's yours then why is there a menu in the background?

that's just the recipe for 'mac n cheese' on the back of a box of Muellers Elbow Macaroni... I have a limited amount of counter space...

Do I have to come up there to prove it to you,,, 'cause you know I will...
