Once v4.05 is on their Seti servers you'll be able to process Seti WU's on Boinc v4x. |

Just who is running the show? Are we using Boinc 3.x or Boinc 4.x? Now that I have upgraded to 4.05 I get errors stating I am using the wrong client. If I switch back to 3.x I get errors stating I am set up for 4.x. Does anyone know what is going on? |

Ok, I've been trying to use the new BOINC client to process SETI work units. So far, I've managed to get two work units done in two weeks. This is not a record setting pace. Using the original SETI client I am able to process four work units a day and would be able to do more if the client used both processors in my machine. My questions is: In your latest news you state that we need to have the version 4.0 BOINC client to process SETI work units. Cool! So where is version 4.0? I've been contributing to the SETI project since 1997 and am getting frustrated with BOINC since I can't seem to be able to make a contribution using that client. When will the SETI project make its move to BOINC and stop using the classic client? Thanks! Rick Waterson Crystal Lake, IL |
