Right. So i downloaded and cut'n'pasted the program...
Now what the heck do I do? Attach it to SETI@home? How the hell, as I am not interested in figuring out in what folder the shared info is, etc. etc. etc...

Any pointing in the right direction would be much obliged. Brainless, however, can just go blow. I'm not asking that exhaust port for anything.

So I let the comp display the graphics for a change, while I was plodding through my paper 'inbox' on my desk, and as I glanced at the 1999 workunit display from time to time, I saw the same pattern of high power repeat itself twice, over and over, in approximately the same spot!
They would both appear in definitely in the same frequency, and reaching the upper limit of the graph in power.

I found it verrrrry interesting, and would love to have been able to pause the progam and take a look deeper into the phenomenon!

What is the exact frequency?!? Is it repeating itself each time every few screens that it appears in? Is the frequency commonly used by Earth sources? Is it possibly a natural phenomena? What is the time interval between peaks?

It sure would be nice for the folx at SETI to make this info investigateable by the user, wouldn't it?

Yea ive seen a couple of repeating off the chart spikes. Wasnt there a spot at seti@home classic that said how to identify what an "alien" signal would look like?

You probably want a private offsite program like BOINCVEW or something. There's a link to that on the main site.
