Okay there are alot of people upset that there credit is falling becasue they are only getting 3.something per FLOPS. I thought that our score cards would be listed as 1Mflops = 1 cr. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/FLOPS. This is my idea so that would mean that your RAC would be cut by 2/3rds. but it would balance out things at lest for people who don't like alot stress (KIS = keep it simple) PS am i the only one that remembers when classic took 30 days to finish on WU |

LOL, it pretty much fell victim to the age old problem that benchmarking is fine for comparing performance beteen similiar hardware architectures in a closely controlled experiment, but tends to breakdown somewhat when applied to a broad spectrum of applications and hardware. Alinator |

This is why you should get 1 credit per thousand secs processing time, this would mean that people who took 80,000 secs and only did 1 wu (old p3 spec) would get the same as someone who took 80,000 secs and did 20 wu!. Means people are less likely to feel they have to upgrade to newest spec pcs, and also means that older pcs are just as important as new ones. |

(KIS = keep it simple) i do to but the whole copy right thing ;) Means people are less likely to feel they have to upgrade to newest spec pcs, and also means that older pcs are just as important as new ones. yes but less work would get done. humans always compete only the games are differant. women/men, sports, speed, jobs, grades,. lets not high jack okay :) |
