Incidentely, I note your other active clients are running Windows XP, Service Pack 2 no less! So why are you not running an old version of Windows? I don't see you complaining that Boinc does not run on your old DOS/Win 3.1 O/S systems and that you don't need to upgrade them!

because linux client is running on servers 24/7 and servers using old debian distro and sevrers is stable
and windows client is running on my home pc
and no i don't have a time for codding and if coders decide to not compile setiathome static version for linux and i stop all projects running on linux
remember setiathome client is closed project i don't have a sourcecode
if i have a source then i compile it static and no problems

Having a little rant because your OLD O/S isn't up to the job is not very constructive.

If you think the coders are stupid, why don't you volunteer your own high level coding skill to solve the problem?

i'm running setiathome so manu years and decide to stop support seti, why ? because some coders think i need to upgrade my linux distro and I DON'T NEED TO UPGRADE MY DISTRO!
ALL I NEED IS WORKING VERSION OF SETIATHOME WHO DON'T NEED GLIBC2.3!!!!!
