Why would someone want these results? No one would even be impressed with their stats even if they did do a bunch quick...

Well.....it's down to 8 work unit per day and allready used it for today. First thing I would do is remove Boinc 4.45. Also remove any app_info.xml file if it exists and any optimized app software. Install Boinc 5.4.9. Probably can't get another work unit until another day starts in UTC. Let it run in stock mode and see how it does without trying to optimize anything till it get's it's allowed work per day back up to 100.

strange how most of teh errors are after 27 seconds of cpu time.... that coudl be some cpu sceduling settings taht are conflicting with boinc?

I checked many of the results and I noticed that in the stderr.txt included in the results it lists the file and line number of the error and I saw only three places in two files where all the errors occured. Seems like the ones with very low cpu times (.09 sec. or so) all crashed on a certain line in "seti.cpp" while the others with about 27 seconds crashed either on line 7xx or 9xx of the file "analyseFunctions.cpp". They all were errors of "can't allocate memory" so on the ones where the cpu times were 27 seconds, it evidently took that much time to get to the point in the program where the memory call was made that crashed the program. Same with the others, but they made the call to memory a lot earlier.

I was looking at my completed Workunits and was amazed at how many peoples stats look like that...Some seriously sick computers out there....I have only done around 50 units and 6 of the ones pending are because they have to resend to someone that can run them properly.

look at the client-version and you can get a clue why there are problems.

most of the other errors are without spending time, so it may hae to do with changing to a new client not correctly. like installing a sse3-client on a pc who can handle only sse or something like that.

When I looked at the flagged results on this computer I saw an error 200 message. "Can't get input file". This sounds more like a server or network error. So it may be something that the user can correct or it may be something totally beyond their control. (If on a network and the admin changed network configurations etc.)
