Stefan

You have pointed out two problems... First you are using Seti Enhanced Beta Optimized 5.11, which claims a different amount of credit than the 5.12 here... I had previously pointed out that the Optimized Beta App is different than the 5.12 SE app... and not recommended... So it becomes the Quorums problem to sort out Low, High and assign credit...

The second is that 5.2.13tx36 is attempting to calibrate "seti@home" or Seti Enhanced... I have one machine running it to see how things go... So 5.2.13tx36 here may mess with things even more...

Last with noted BOINC Core Clients 3.xx and 4.xx things will be even more confusing... That was one of my references to "Credit Soup," if you add enough BOINC Core Clients to a pot of boiling water you get Credit Soup...

Needless to say this next month will be interesting in the conversations that popup in the Forum...

Hmm, so much for most of the claims being "close" to eachother

P4 2.4a ghz overclocked at 17% using Crunch3r opt claiming 168 credit...

Kev

Thank You
It appears that 5.2.13tx36 is attempting to calibrate it... Even though it is only set for "seti@home, einstein@home" and NOT seti_enhanced@home... So there could be an additional problem as 5.2.13tx36 is "project" orientated...

Hey Poppa, it looks like your real cpu time on that unit was 16900 seconds, not 9295.

Here's a couple of results from my 3000+@2.3GHz with about the same AR:

standard 5.12=17950 seconds.

Crunch3r's 5.11=14794 seconds and a useless sky-high credit claim :)

Crunch3r's app shaved almost hour off the run time.

Okay Everyone

The PII 350 that was used in Seti Enhanced Beta Finally completed its first 5.12 Result

PII 350 128 RAM Win 2K Pro
Seti HostID 2378365
AR 0.630837 76600753 109,489.97 Sec 47.08 CC 30.41 hours

If you look at the ResultID 319059830 one of the things that you will find is that it is report the Angle Range AR. In most cases with Seti you noticed a few minutes difference but did not know why... Here you will find with different AR's time can vary by hours...

So this is what the Graphs that Ingleside and Joe have posted about...

Seti Beta HostID 4185

So you see that the PII 350 can do Seti Enhanced. With a BOINC Core Client 5.2.6 or above it will recieve the same credit as a 3+Ghz Xeon. One of the problems that you will be seeing is that a machine running 4.xx will come up with some weird Credit Claim..

BOINC Core Client 5.2.13
