If ETs believe in God, they would use other names. It's a little egocentric to think they'd use one particular terran name when referring to a supreme being. There are many names used here on earth, and unfortunately each group seems to think THEIR name for God is the only true name. If people can't accept individuals from another nation referring to God by a different name, why assume it would be any different for individuals from another world?

For most, the NAME isn't the hang-up, it's the religious connotations that we attach to the name. English-speaking Christians don't begrudge Spanish-speaking Christians who refer to "God" with the Spanish word for "God".

And what if ET's god is a hard drinking, fornicating, and violent warmonger (oops, sounds like Irish Catholics), what then? All that Jeffery would see is another potential convert because he can't abide by anyone else's beliefs that diverge from his own. Actually, ET would be too intelligent to believe in clap trap.

What if E.T. comes from another universe and God reports to E.T?

A common belief is God created the earth.
That means God had to come from somewhere else.
If an ET is a being from somewhere other than earth, God must be an ET.

If GOD is a supreme being, why should there be only one? It would be awfully lonely. Maybe each GOD created their own Galaxy to experiment in. Maybe each super nova is the GOD that created that galaxy destroying an experiment that didn't work out. Go on, disprove it.

If there is only one GOD and it is lonely, wouldn't it have gone mad after all this time alone and is taking pleasure by creating disease, poverty, war...etc.

If ET believes in god, I will steal their technology and wipe them out in spirit of christianity as their god could not POSSIBLY be Jahova.
