my account number is f7777e389d6e293415bcfd67c9bb9c01 Max Garth and so far since adding BOINC to my computer I havent been able to get one data input. I took Boinc off and yesterday put it back on. And the results are the same.Is this thing operational, workable or am I wasting my time. No-one seems to care or answer questions. Please tell me what is going on, its like being on the moon since 1969. Max Garth maxg@nw.com.au

Have you used the Attach to Project option under the Projects menu in the Boinc window? If you haven't, you'll need to do that to tell your boinc manager what projects to load.

I assume you want to do Seti@home, so when the url box pops up after you hit the next button, you'll wanna copy and paste this http://setiathome.berkeley.edu/ into that input box. Then you'll need to put in your e-mail and password to attach the project.

Hmmmm. Odd. I just looked up your stats and it said that your computer(Intel Pentium 4 CPU 1400MHz) contacted the server yesterday at 11:13:18 UTC 19 Apr 2006, but didn't get any units. It also lists credit for you, is that on other projects?

It might help to see what error messages pop up in the Messages window of the boinc manager. Other than that I don't know. Wait, it could be that the project was out of workunits at the time. Good Luck

The universe is a pretty big place. It's bigger than anything anyone has ever dreamed of before. So if it's just us... seems like an awful waste of space. Right?
