Message 263683 - Posted: 17 Mar 2006, 22:50:39 UTC

I sure would like to see more of us "crunchers" donate. Is it possible to reach .5% of us or even 1.0% of the "crunchers"? Sure would like to see it happen.

I want to see this thread full of stars!! Donate and then post here!

My God......It's full of stars!

Thanks

Me too; I pretty well 'blew my wad' for the year a few weeks ago, donating 1¢ in memory of each of my Classic results. Maybe by my sign-up anniversary I'll be in a position to contribute some more.

Oh yes, lots of stars. Ursa Minor, Triangulum, Lyra, Aries. Too much to mention.

Ok.....the rules for this thread require that anyone who posts here must have made a donation to Boinc/Seti. Darth Vador, you are in violation and must make a donation. Everyone here must have a star next to their name.

In honor of my 6th anniversary with Seti@home on March 18th, I've given $100. Which is my second donation in the last 6 months.

Question...how does the star thing work if we donated hardware? I donated 5 SDLT 2 tapes to Berkeley awhile ago but haven't seen anything appear by my name. (Which isn't really the reason I donated.) Just curious if anyone knows.

(Edit) Okay, technically it's media, not hardware, but same premise. (/Edit)

Hmm..... Donated $50 about a year ago, but no star. Guess I'll just have to try again. :-)

Did you include your username and e-mail address with the paperwork, so they can find you and add the star? It sometimes takes a while, cause they are still working to get enhanced over here.
