The TV series spin-off of the Stars Wars film franchise will run to at least 100 episodes, according to producer Rick McCallum.

Based on the 20 years in the life of Luke Skywalker between Episode III and Episode IV.

Question is, just how can farming on the desert world of Tatooine be so exciting for 100 episodes?

Yes, that'd be interesting to see.
I have a lot of questions and doubts - mainly because of the fact that George Lukas will be involved himself. I don't think he's capable of writing a good story or script and I really hope he won't be directing any of the episodes.

He totally ruined the movies from VI and onwards. Everything went wrong: casting, story, plots, script, direction, and more. The movies depends on special effects and music, which both are superb. The rest is below par and it's Lukas' fault.
