Whether you like him or hate him -- the show is running now on the channel ...

I LOVE how he's come into his own these days. No longer the laughable has-been that he made himself (or allowed his publicists to make of him) in the last two decades.
I haven't seen him acting lately, but I never liked him as an actor in Star Trek. As I understand it, his collegues on the set didn't like him either.
I've heard the same. Doohan seems to have hated him the most. Still, if you ever get the show there you should be sure to tune in. The cast is tight; Shatner, James Spader ("You have a job to do, and so do it. Yours is to sell
socks and suspenders. Mine is to cross examine people like you and crush them."), Candice Bergen, Rene Auberjonois (Odo in DS9). Some drama, some humor, very good writing.

Without love, breath is just a clock ... ticking.

An irresistable title to a Discovery Channel show scheduled for tomorrow - Sunday the 12th. Tongue in cheek of course, but should prove to be worth an hour - especially since it's Discovery Channel.

I LOVE how he's come into his own these days. No longer the laughable has-been that he made himself (or allowed his publicists to make of him) in the last two decades.

The Denny Crane character he plays makes "Boston Legal" even better than it already could have been without him. I'd love the guy as that character even if I'd never seen him before. One of the only shows I make time in my week to sit down and watch. Brilliant. Even the theme music is some of the best I've ever heard.

Here's a great example of his character's lines - he's a super-lawyer in his waning years yet still full of ego asking a defendant in court with a wimpy looking court appointed attorney standing by: "Who would you rather have as your attorney? Me, Denny Crane, or Mr. Hankey McGuiltyverdict?" I nearly leaked a little. TiVo the show if you're still out of the loop on this one. Awesome.

Without love, breath is just a clock ... ticking.
