Hi Marilynn,
You can use your same account name as on the original seti to sign up for seti-boinc. That way you will still have access to your credits that were earned in classic, however please take note that those credits are *not* transfered to this account. Everyone just starting out with seti-boinc atarts at zero credits. This is due to the way credits are issued in the new application and they cannot be combined with the original credit system. However the classic seti credits will show up separately on your stats page if you use the same account. See the registration page for the process of transferring your account to seti-boinc.

Oops, about to forget... Welcome to seti-boinc!

SETI Classic shut down back in December, if you wish to continue running SETI you need to switch to BOINC.

I have been using SETI Driver (v. 1.6.4.3) and SETI Spy (v. 3.3.3) for years. I recently added additional projects using BOINC. Everything ran smoothly for a while but now SETI Driver can not transmit a completed data unit. When I click on Transmit, the DOS screen flashes into view for less than a second and then disappears. If any message is being displayed, there is no time to read it or do anything about it. Can I resolve this problem or should I just switch to SETI using BOINC?
