Just like Toby my site ( BOINC Stats for the World - http://www.boincsynergy.com/stats/index.php ) has also recognised that todays update has that crazy large host file and the script backs off until the files (all 3 ie teams, hosts, users) are in the right format.

I am sure its only a matter of time... never fear stats freaks *smile*

There is new data but it is incomplete. The user file might be complete but the team file is too small and there is no hosts file. Maybe tomorrow? :)

Looks like there's some fresh xml data.... at least my user/host/credit script is saying it missed an update by an hour, not 72 hours now.

yea, i hear the old versions just give up if you try to go past warp 0.000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000...0000001

maybe due to lack of funding they ran out of fuel for the genny
come on guys, lets buy them some more fuel to keep it (and the servers) running ;)

Today we had another quick database backup/compression, and then upgraded the MySQL version again (to the latest 4.1.x). It was a painless upgrade, and a couple problems seemed to have cleared up. Most notably, users are now able to "merge computers" again via our web site. This query had been locking up the system.

Seems they forgot to turn the XML data exports back on too.

Just made number 1 spot in our team (alt.2600) and I can't even gloat about it
to the other members of the team. :-(

Didn't see any tech note or other message confirming or denying this, so it (sort of like with our administration) a case of observing the phenomena without explanation.

Is there an explanation (or better yet a solution) available?
