Actually, I'm starting to think me and Appetiser are actually the same person...spooky ;-)

@mum: Yes, I was up all night talking to a certain person. Didn't get to bed till 6.30am....yawn...

The spooky thing is is that I was getting up at about 6:30 am.....

You are a Mazda RX-8!

You're sporty, yet practical, and you have a style of your own. You like to have fun, and you like to bring friends along for the ride, but when it comes time for everyday chores, you're willing to do your part.

I'm a Chevrolet Corvette!

You're a classic - powerful, athletic, and competitive. You're all about winning the race and getting the job done. While you have a practical everyday side, you get wild when anyone pushes your pedal. You hate to lose, but you hardly ever do.

Real nice car in my opinion, but I was wishing for an AMC Javelin :)

You are a Mercedes SLK!
You appreciate the finer things in life. You have a split personality - wild or conservative, depending on your mood. Wherever you go, you like to travel first class. Luxury, style, and fun - who could ask for more?

This explains a few things...

I'm a 2006 DeLorean!

You've changed recently and are making a come-back. A risk-taker, entrepreneurial, yet unconcerned with time, you'll definitely turn heads. Unconcerned with skeptics, you'll have the last laugh, all the way to the bank!

I remember my grandfather driving a beige 1980 Ford Pinto wagon. You always have to be careful of cars that have the gastank on the outside of the frame.

Ah, but they fixed the gas tank problem in the mid 1970's, so mine is relatively safe. Cost me $600 and I've been driving it for 6 years. Seems I got my money's worth!

Talking about being careful of petrol tanks outside the frame.

I am sure you are all aware that in reality petrol will not explode unless it is in a compressed vapor so all the hollywood movie car explosions are not likely.

But i knew a guy who used to own an old BMW motorbike from WWII and if you ever saw a WWII movie where a german MB blew up i can tell you it was real. Because the germans had such poor quality fule, they had an external vaporiser compression chamber on the side of the carbie. if this was hit by a bullet it exploded.

just a bit of useless trivia lol.

Many moons ago I worked at a gas station, and one day someone's bumper got caught on the pump hose as they were leaving. It pulled the pump over and started a fire, but no explosion. If that had been a movie the whole gas station would've gone sky high!

I once worked a gas station in the 70's, full service, yes, i asked to check the oil.. I once saw a car rack fail.. when it came down there was a shovel layin on the edge of the roof, i foget why, but the (Audi) bumper caught it on the way down and threw it several hundred feet in the air... i just remembered the time someone wanted me to put air in the tire and the tire exploded on me, the closest i've ever been to having a heart attack that i know of....
