So the SETI numbers are correct, the total BOINC are understated. Since you yourself have a broken merge host fuction have you considered talking to your doctor about some viagra ;) 98SE XP2500+ @ 2.1 GHz Boinc v5.8.8 And God said"Let there be light."But then the program crashed because he was trying to access the 'light' property of a NULL universe pointer. |

So the SETI numbers are correct, the total BOINC are understated. As far as hosts, the SETI numbers are probably overstated a bit also due to the problem with a particular host occasionally getting assigned a "new" identifier for whatever reason. That will also probably get worse before it gets better, since the "merge hosts" function is borken - I have one myself. |

There is more hosts for S@H-BOINC than BOINC combined?Going looking through the bug-reporting forum, I see what the issue is. Old BOINC clients (prior to version 4 I think) did not have a host-CPID. These hosts are in the projects database (DB) without (= empty) CPID. Imported into BOINCstats, these still don't have a CPID (obviously). So the SETI numbers are correct, the total BOINC are understated. MJ |
