ok so my mac's been doing its projects just fine, however, i've only had one or two succesful transfer of files. what i mean is that i've gotten work, completed it, but then it won't transfer it back. so on all the work id's it says that its still in progress. on the manager, it shows i've completed several projects and that communications failed and will retry in a certain amount of time. if i try to retry communications, it fails each one and it says that it will retry later. and all of this shows in my credit score which is some tiny number. please help!

You need to look in the Number Crunching forum, there are a lot of threads on upload/download problems. If you don't see something that answers your question, post there including the following:

Quit BOINC completely. Launch BOINC. Select SETI in the "Projects" tab and hit Update. Leave it for at least 10 minutes. Go to the Messages tab and select all messages to copy. Paste them into your posting. This will give the necessary information for someone to help you.
