Message 232580 - Posted: 17 Jan 2006, 14:50:35 UTC - in response to Message 231461.

I am having trouble receiving new units on one of my computers for 24 hours now. Is anyone else having this problem? Otherwise the units are running fine, but keep getting no new work.

Thanks,

Nick

Nick,

I am out or running out of work on all processors, and seeing the following across the board:

1/17/2006 9:38:42 AM||request_reschedule_cpus: project op
1/17/2006 9:38:48 AM|SETI@home|Sending scheduler request to http://setiboinc.ssl.berkeley.edu/sah_cgi/cgi

1/17/2006 9:38:48 AM|SETI@home|Requesting 8640 seconds of new work
1/17/2006 9:39:09 AM||Couldn't connect to hostname [setiboinc.ssl.berkeley.edu]
1/17/2006 9:39:10 AM|SETI@home|Scheduler request to http://setiboinc.ssl.berkeley.edu/sah_cgi/cgi failed with a return value of -106
1/17/2006 9:39:10 AM|SETI@home|No schedulers responded

Different error than yours, but same end result.

Same here, upload problems. Two units have client error on download.
Here is log from one of the units:

1/15/2006 10:26:35 AM|SETI@home|Deferring communication with project for 58 seconds

Anyone with same problem?
Erik.

yup, looks like a bit of a glitch. Got some new wu but they would not complete the download. Takes ages to sent back as well.

same here.... Transitioner backlog is now 9hrs, so we will have to face ANOTHER outage I think... But, that is nothing new :(. Run Predictor or some other projects while Seti is "working" like this and wait for better times. :)

Thanks for getting back to me. I was wondering if it was just my one computer acting up, since the other three are doing OK.
